Mattress questions matters
The size we stock in our mattresses?
We stock almost all standard UK mattress sizes. The 3ft single mattress (90 x 190 x 20 cm) is ideal for kids and single individuals. Then comes the 4ft small double mattress (120 x 190 x 20 cm) which is better for growing teenagers and individuals who demand more space than a single mattress.
The 4ft 6” double mattress (135 x 190 x 20 cm) is ideal for either couples or any two individuals. The double mattress is one of the highest demanded mattresses apart from single mattresses.
The 5ft king size mattress (150 x200 x 20 cm) is the second largest mattress after the 6ft 6” super king size mattress (180 x 200 x 20 cm). These mattresses are larger than usual and can be used for 2-3 individuals.
What mattress size would be best for me?
Deciding on your best mattress takes into account a variety of factors such as– your height, sleeping habits, your bed frame’s dimension, room size and if you are sharing your bed.
Apart from these factors, mattress tension and composition such as medium, firm and soft are also important factors to look at before making your buying decision.
If you are purchasing the mattress for your kid, for a small room or maybe for a guest room, you can go for a single mattress in that case. And, if you are a solo sleeper, a teenager or you have a compact bedroom, a small double mattress is always an option for you.
For people who have partners and don’t mind close sleeping, a double bed mattress is designed for them.
Taller people and for couples who want extra space and comfortable sleeping, we have two other options – king size and super king size mattresses.
What are the different types of mattresses?
There are around 7 types of mattresses, each designed differently to fulfil different needs. These 7 types are as follows:
-
Sprung Mattress: further divided into two types:
-
Open coil or Bonell spring - Made up of interconnected metal springs. These mattresses are relatively cheaper but can transfer motion very easily.
-
Pocket Spring- It features individually wrapped springs that move independently and offer better support and motion isolation.
-
Foam Mattress: further divided into two types:
-
Memory foam- Molds to the body, relieving pressure points and reducing motion transfer. This mattress is ideal for those who sleep on the side.
-
Polyfoam (Polyurethane foam)- This mattress is a cheaper alternative to memory foam mattresses, often used in budget mattresses.
-
Hybrid Mattress: It combines spring with foam layers to provide both support and comfort.
-
Latex/Natural Mattress: Made from natural latex or synthetic latex.
-
Adjustable bed and air mattresses: An adjustable mattress works with an adjustable bed frame to change sleeping positions. These mattresses are ideal for people with medical conditions.
-
Pillow Top Mattress: It features an extra padded layer sewn on top for added softness and luxury
-
Orthopedic Mattress: Designed for back support and spinal alignment, often made with high-density foam or firm springs. Recommended for those with back pain.
What mattress options do we offer?
We offer two types of mattresses with different variations in both of them. Those two types are:
-
Sprung Mattress:
-
Our Bonnel spring mattresses are medium-hard mattresses with 6 layers for a comfortable sleeping experience
-
Quilted Non-woven fabric ⇒ Fabric ⇒ 2cm cool memory gel foam ⇒ 2cm High-density support foam ⇒ Spring safety layer cotton felt ⇒ 16cm spring.
-
These sprung mattresses distribute body weight evenly across mattress surfaces and hence maintain a healthy alignment posture of your spine.
-
The soft-to-touch UKFR knitted fabric ensures protection against allergies due to dust, mites, mildew etc.
-
Foam Mattress:
-
In foam mattresses, we offer cool gel memory foam mattresses without springs.
-
Its 6-layered technology helps in regulating body temperature while sleeping.
-
Premium knitted fabric ⇒ Cool gel memory foam ⇒ Air memory foam ⇒ Quick response foam ⇒ HD Support foam ⇒ Anti-slipping base
-
Features a 7-zone contouring support system for all-rounded comfort and targeted pressure relief
-

How often should you change your mattress?
As per the National Bed Federation, one should chair their mattress every 7 years. So, it's safer to change your mattress in 7-8 years for a healthy sleeping experience.
How can you clean your mattress?
Cleaning the mattress every 3-6 months helps remove dust, allergens and stains keeping it fresh and hygienic. Use a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to remove dust, dirt, and dead skin cells.
You can also use baking soda over the surface for more deep cleaning. A mattress protector will be a great choice to prevent spills and stains. Change bedding weekly to keep dust and bacteria away. Keeping humidity levels low helps prevent dust mites and mould.
Does your mattress come with a warranty?
Yes, all our mattresses come with 1 year of manufacturing warranty to make your sleep blissful and cosy.
