How old should a child be for a bunk bed?

Good for the price

This bed is good for the price, it's not overbearing and fits nicely into my daughter's room. The build was straight forward, but a bit time consuming.
Unfortunately some parts split easily, but probably a case of over tightening so be aware. My only gripe is that the slats are quite thin. When my daughter moves on the top bunk you can really see them bending from underneath. Wish I had kept the old bed slats I got rid of, as they were nice and thick.
All in all, this bed is a bargain. Needs thicker slats.

Very nice bed did take 4 hours to put up but it was worth it . I did realise it did have some difference to the photo but it’s still a lovely bed and the seller was very helpful . So far the bed is perfect
