Solid Wood Detachable Double Bunk Bed

So far so good. Boys like it took us 4hrs. Instruction could have be more details.

Lovely bunk beds. Easy to assemble. Bed is solid and looks good quality. Had a few screws missing. Contacted customer services and they were brilliant. Got the screws within 24 hours. Only downside it was cheaper on Amazon

I’ve built a lot of flat packs since the 1970’s and this one’s up there with best. The packaging was first bless. The instructions were clear and, if followed carefully, enabled a successful build with no backtracking. I made one error - put the top bed onto the bottom one the wrong way round!!! My bad!
The finished product is sturdy and looks perfect. Can’t wait for the grandchildren to see it!! The 3ft width means that ‘their’ room is also suitable as a guest room. Excellent!

Fantastic bed twins love it took 2 hrs to assemble but it is solid and it’s brilliant that it can be separated down if need to

Only thing I would say is it to possibly have 2 hand rails to hold onto when going up and down the ladders just to help this support when climbing steps if children are abit young

I would like to thank the team for this bunk bed. Considering the price, I received a very good-quality product, and overall I am very satisfied.

The product description was clear and detailed. I assembled the bed by myself, which took about 4 hours. I honestly recommend not doing it alone if you have the option, it’s quite challenging solo. That said, if you’re on your own like I was, it is possible 😊

Each level has a wooden base made of multiple slats/pieces rather than one solid board, which need to be placed and fixed during assembly. Once assembled, the base feels strong and supportive.
To test it, I sat on each level together with my son. I weigh 110 kg, and the bed handled the weight well, which reassured me that it is sturdy. (Of course, I don’t recommend doing this regularly, it probably reduces the bed’s lifespan by 50% 😄)

The height from the floor is very practical, allowing you to place storage boxes underneath, which is a great use of space. Most importantly, my children are very happy with the bed, and that’s what matters most.

Suggestions for improvement:

I would suggest increasing the distance between the two levels by about 10–15 cm. This would allow an adult to sit comfortably on the lower bed. I am 188 cm tall, and when I sit on the lower level, my head touches the upper bed. A bit more vertical space would make the design feel more ergonomic and comfortable.

Final thoughts:

Delivery was well organized, smooth, and on time. For the price of £209, I think this product is reasonable and offers better quality than many similar beds in the £200–£250 range, especially in terms of wood quality and dimensions. There is some noise when the children climb up, but this is expected at this price point.

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this bunk bed, especially for families looking for good value for money.
