Excellent, well made flat pack.

Really pleased with this, especially for the money. I’ve just constructed it, parts well made, instructions clear, can’t fault it and goes really well with my new flooring, I was a bit worried it might be a greyish oak effect as that’s what it looked like in the picture but it’s definitely a more warm oak colour.

Better than expected drawer runners

Being a builder, I usually look closely at flat-pack joints. This unit uses proper metal runners rather than cheap plastic ones, which means the drawers slide out nicely without catching. Plenty of room to hide away all our messy wires and sky boxes.

Drawer runners are smooth

I always check the drawer runners on flat pack as that's where corners get cut. These are proper full length metal ones and slide really nicely, no scraping or sticking. Pleasantly surprised.

That warm oak surface on top stops it looking like a plain box of white furniture. The grain on it is quite pronounced too which gives it some character. Wipes clean with a damp cloth no problem.

Shaker style works in our old place

Live in a Victorian terrace and a lot of modern stuff looks out of place. The shaker front on this fits in really nicely without being too country cottage. Wife approved which is the main thing.
