FAQs
What is the right way to clean the upholstery and the frame after everyday spills and splashes?

A damp cloth handles the upholstery, and the frame needs nothing more than wiping. Powder coating is baked onto the tube, so steam and splashes will not lift it. The matt surface hides daily marks far better than a gloss finish does.
Is the seat covered in real leather, and how does the material cope in a busy kitchen?

No, the seat and back are PU suede rather than genuine hide. PU also handles kitchen spills better than untreated leather, which marks and dries.
How do I know these will fit under my dining table, and how much room do four of them need?

Measure your table height first, as this 49cm seat suits anything near 75cm. You then get roughly 26cm of leg room, which is the comfortable normal gap. Four chairs need about 120cm of table edge, and they tuck under afterwards.
Will the metal frame scratch or mark my wooden floor when the chairs are pushed in and out?

Foot pads are fitted at our factory, so no bare metal ever touches your floor. The runners glide instead of dragging, which matters most on wood and vinyl.
Are these comfortable enough to sit in through a long dinner, or only for quick meals?

The padding runs to the top of the 100cm frame, supporting your shoulders properly. Seat and back both carry 4cm of foam at a density of 30.2. Density governs how a cushion recovers, so it matters more than thickness does.
How much weight can each of these dining chairs hold before the frame starts to flex?

Each frame carries a static load rating of 100kg, which is 220lbs per seat. The tube is a 15 x 25mm rectangular section with a 1.5mm wall thickness. Wall thickness, not tube width, decides whether a frame flexes over years of use.
The frame does not have four separate legs, so will these chairs wobble or rock when I sit down?

No, the loop base spreads your weight along two floor runners rather than four points. Foot pads are fitted to both runners before packing, which kills the rocking entirely. Cantilever frames only feel unsteady when that contact line is short or unpadded.
